Now that the Yamaha Tyros 4 Keyboard is released, this is one question most musicians are asking, especially those who already own a Yamaha Tyros. This new version of Tyros, in a way, has been released quite soon considering that the Tyros-3 didn't debut a long time back.
So are you are one of those who have been using the earlier versions of the Tyros and doing live performances with it for a few years now? If you have never had any problems with it so far and if it works fine, just as the way you had I first bought it, I would advise you to have a look at some of the video reviews of the new Tyros 4. You could even visit the website of Yamaha and check out the demos of the new Tyros.
In terms of features, there are several new styles and all the voices are now super-articulation. All the styles that were taken from the Tyros 3 have been worked upon and enriched so that they sound totally realistic now. Another new addition is the vocoder, which was not present in the earlier versions of the Tyros.
But in terms of price the Yamaha Tyros 4 is an expensive piece of instrument so if you are still looking for a home arranger keyboard or if you are still not doing a lot of live performances, then you need no spend money when it's not necessary. You better save it for later use, when you are ready.
If you are happy with your old PSR arranger keyboard and it still works fine and you will you are not ready for the newer version, you're better off saving your money. Having said that the Tyros 4 is an amazing instrument with the best sounding styles and voices, especially the orchestral sounds. So check out the Yamaha Tyros 4 Keyboard today!
